A Description To Define What Cannot Be Defined
Here come the drums to take us away
Stealing our souls to another time, another place
Feel the beat flow, in tune to our pounding hearts
Within the motions played, the pulsing of a star
We belong, I trust
Come with me into symphony, away from reality’s zone
Guitar strumming a story, a tale of truth of its own
There is no other in this place, this world of sound
Beckoning these two kindred souls, lost in their own fish bowl
Lost in us
Hear the words they sing telling all of my story, of yours
Let them live, let them bring you through all the lonely hours
I'm finally understanding those tales so common, at last
like an epic success never shown so purely in the past
A never defined Nomenclature
Listen, hear my heart described in detail
I was a poet, delusional with my own tale
I was a Dreamer, waiting for the days of peace
I was a friend, a woman, a child at ease
Now I simply love
I cannot define music, for we are the music
Lost in a dream I had not known I had dreamt
Becoming a reality as I learn to understand you
The reality of our dream founded by Truth
There is nothing else
Imbecile me, genius of the ignorantly blind
Thinking I understood what I can no longer define
So young, I believed I was fine by myself, for myself
So alone, I hear my words as I cry for help!
My cry is heard
You taught me of all that is the world
You teach me of myself, my heart, my own
And so the music seeps through my soul, reason converted
Exerted in reverse of all I thought I knew, revered
Music perfected
Drifting slowly down a tangerine world, affinity
I wake to a name of an almost palindrome clarity
Lost in the nights of whispered conversation
Describing all we need, defining the essence of love
Defining Truth
Through all I’ve said, I have said absolutely nothing
There are no Words left to describe my strongest dream
But, here’s my simple description for you, anyways
All that means anything, a plea, all I have to say
Love me, do
You know I love you
