    To My Daughter

Thought I have yet to meet you.
    I hate we are apart.
    Be know this always
    You are in my Heart.
    I am a silly boy
    You have not met
Yet you fill me with so much joy
My love you will never forget
    Daddy Loves you Ary
More than you will ever know
I’ll be there for you always
And watch you as you grow
So I say to you now
Before you can talk at all
    Daddy will always be there
To catch you when you fall.
To see you off to school
    On the first day
I know daddy will cry like a fool
But you’ll know why some day
I don't want to look ahead
I'm afraid of what I’ll see
One day a boy will come
And love you as much as me
    This is daddy talking
    One day you will see
    How much daddy loves you
And all that you mean to me.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
