Time
Time is a story,
An endless rhetoric,
Of countless lives and dreams,
It lasts forever,
Time is a river,
Flowing east, west, north, and south,
Supplying many with water,
Life giving water,
Where truth flows,
Time is a tree,
Standing tall against the storm,
Roots entrenched deep within the soil,
So many branches,
Impossible to number,
Time is a tower,
Built strong it outlasts us all,
It will never fall,
It houses the millions,
And keeps them warm,
Shelters them
Against life's storm,
Time is a street,
That everyone walks down,
Follow it's twists and turns,
Never may we leave it.
An endless rhetoric,
Of countless lives and dreams,
It lasts forever,
Time is a river,
Flowing east, west, north, and south,
Supplying many with water,
Life giving water,
Where truth flows,
Time is a tree,
Standing tall against the storm,
Roots entrenched deep within the soil,
So many branches,
Impossible to number,
Time is a tower,
Built strong it outlasts us all,
It will never fall,
It houses the millions,
And keeps them warm,
Shelters them
Against life's storm,
Time is a street,
That everyone walks down,
Follow it's twists and turns,
Never may we leave it.
