There was a crow

Poem Commentary

The underdeveloped countries don't have good governence and the democracy is not stable. People raise their voice for their rights but who dares to listen? No one hears them and many of them are never noticed rather.

There was a crow

There was a crow
and he crowed so low.

I asked him "Why?"
And he said
"They can hear me."

These days I cry so loud
that my building trembles of the loudness
When I walk,
the plasters on the road crack down
And when I whisper,
seems like a tsunami is getting prepared.

But they do not hear me.

There was a crow
and he crowed so low.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
