The story of today
Try to cry,
But the words.
You just can't verbalize.
You want to speak,
Oh so terribly bad.
Against the hatefulness,
the spite and deceit.
Oh help me Father!
I'm all choked up.
Your spirit cries out.
Your prayer partner calls out.
He hears your cries.
Speak! He replies.
You're not tongue-tied.
Not anymore.
You begin to cry.
Cry at his awesomeness.
And you beg Him to help you.
“Send the evil away Father!”
You feel a wave of relief.
It washes over you like a cool summer rain.
All the darkness is gone,
And you feel only the warmth,
The warmth of His love.
The End.
