    The Break-up

     I was sitting in my lonely spot again today
    Wondering when I was going to.......
    To what I just can't seem to say

    My thoughts are scattered and not complete
    My feelings are........
    Not finding a good place to meet

    I hear a dull ringing coming from far away
    My ears are........
    Not hearing the words I see your mouth say

    I seem to have lost interest in me and you
    My heart is........
    Broken and bleeding from the things you do

    I will be glad when this horror movie is done
    Life will again.......
    Be happy, joyful, warm, sunny and fun

    an excellent write on life's broken dreams....Sad....but Beautiful....when ones mind feels displaced.feelin' incomplete....it is difficult to see past the fog in ones mind...when its the heart that takes a beatin' we are all in three parts, body, mind and spirit...take in a deep breath.....exhale...to pull yourself together as a whole....now your true life can Begin...it will be sweeter the second time around...shake off those bittersweet memories if they keep you from growth.....let out your Happy, joyful, warm, sunny & fun side again for someone whom cares..... .Love N Light, Terra @}--'-,- (10+ )

    I like the way it reads. like the spurts of thought you get when day dreaming. Maybe you are more a positive thinker, but the lingering despair in the first part of the poem makes the Hopeful end seem a little too hopeful. lol But it is a great idea- being only one step away from joy again.

    With life there is joy than comes pain....making you feel as through you are insane..but we must pick up the pieces and move on ..there will be a new light shining at dawn.... yes you will find happiest again.......keep believing in you. :)

    you will live your life again and it will be the best days of your life. You and your son, are going to make it. Life goes on and remember you have friends that are here for you if you need it. This poem may be how you feel now but you will find some true love with some other woman and she will bring happiness to your family. You will find all that again with someone new. I am praying for you.

    I like the original presentation used for this write. Again, the speaker expresses insight and introspection and offers an honest look at the human condition.

    Thank you. I am at this stage in my life.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
