    • Been way too long. Grad school was on hold. Graduated, now planning for wedding. Got to get back to writing poetry again.

    "Afraid"

    What are you afraid of?
    -Spending the rest of your life with one soul?
    -Loving me so much, then afraid I wil llet go?
    -Getting so close and one day I decide that maybe
    you're not worth it and toss you aside?

    What is it Baby that brings on this fear?
    All I want is for you to be near.

    Close to my person-I feel your presence.
    Close to my heart-I can't live without your essence.
    Close to your body-I have to inhale every touch.
    Close to your soul-I've never been able to love this much.
