    • Been way too long. Grad school was on hold. Graduated, now planning for wedding. Got to get back to writing poetry again.

    Leave Me
    Leave me alone-I want to be like you.

    Leave me where my lips cannot confess this troubled
    and sorted unhappiness.

    Leave me to my turmoil and crying out inside-leave me
    to feel the torment that I decide.

    Leave me to the shame, guilt and bitterness.
    Leave me be-you know I deserve this.

    Leave me before I poison yur mind.
    Leave me before you completely run out of time.

    Leave me before it's too late.
    Leave me before you learn how to hate.

    There are many times I wish I didn't have a metaphorical heart, but even then, it's not a feeling easily dealt with, great write.

    Thank you. My writing has been on hold for grad school. Plus I am raising my five year old grandson which is like starting all over again.

    Hmm for some reason i like this a lot. Its rather ambiguous yet still sets the mood quite nicely.

    Seeing the insecurities of others and not being able to do anything directly about it's a bitch, so what else to do but write it. I'm glad you liked it.

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
