    Quandary

Can I trust you with my heart?
Can I bear my soul to you?
Will you mistake my kindness for weakness?
Or will you cherish my love for you.

Is it safe to let you in?
Let you see the woman I am.
Can you bear my love and lust?
Are you the one that I can trust?

Let my hands glide over your body
and my lips caress your skin.
Let my tongue invade your privacy
    along with my sheepish grin.

Will you ride the crest of loving me
when my nature is on the rise?
    Will you welcome wanton desire
when I gaze into your eyes...

Can I trust you with my heart?
Can I bear my soul to you?
Will you mistake my kindness for weakness?
Or will you cherish my love for you.
