I am 23 years old. Awake and alive in the golden city of art and ocean - Ventura, California. The better days are those in which the rain pours happily through the sun-strewn clouds and rain darkens the sidewalk with shadow. Lover of works by writers such as John Milton, John Donne, Victor Hugo, Anne Rice, Rudyard Kipling, Anne McCafferey, J.R.R. Tolkien and many, many more!
Purple is the color that fills my soul - velvet and livid and deep. I adore the way it can wrap around the white of my shoulders, making red of my hair and greener my eyes. In every way, the rudest colors are complimented by the purple, nearly black and so serene.
In art, I admire the works of Vincent VanGogh; the crows and the starry skies fill my heart the way his open sunflowers fill his pages and bloom with his curled, golden soul. Leonardo Da Vinci, another classic - admirable in more than just the limitless world of art. My favorite works include his sketches of cherubim, horses and skulls.
Musically, there are almost no boundaries - from Debussy to Pink Floyd, there is nothing lovelier than the sweetest sounds of another persons expression. Currently, I am enjoying the lively snap of Oingo-Boingo and the upbeat-offbeat of The Shins. When it comes to artsy and deep and sweetly enticing - I move quickly towards The Dead Weather - *sigh* currently an interesting piece to listen to and to think of as enigmatic energy.
