Passion
Does anyone really know the passion of christ? Why he died for our sins and paid with his life? To be beaten and beaten and then speared with a knife, nails in his hands and nails in his feet while the people he died for didn't even weep.
To give everything he had for our salvation, and then be traded to soldiers without any explanation. To break bread and pray to the father in his household, and betray him and sell the son of god for 36 pieces of silver im told, was his life not worth more than that to you 10 fold.
To follow the son of God and learn the righteous path, and spit in his face, throw stones and then laugh. To pledge your life, love and your heart to him and when confronted by his enemies you don't even know him.
To be jesus and know these things would take place, and yet he took you in his heart and his love embraced all the sickness and death he encountered he erased, and with tears in his eyes and blood on his face he asked God to forgive you in your own disgrace.
This Angel to be loved, this man with such heart to be tortured, forsaken, his whole world torn apart. The life that he gave was the ultimate sacrifice, so I ask does anyone really know the passion of christ?
