Only Death
I've always said,Only Death
Could cease me
Bearing my entire self
For you.
Only Death
Could hinder me
From a love
That is not mine
To give.
Yet you took his role
By playing the part
Of killing me.
Only Death
I've always said,A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
