    One Wish for Christmas (2006)

Oh where oh where can my parents be,
Their looks I have but still cannot be seen,
Are they Dead? Alive? Or hurt?
I see other children with their parents but mine are never here,
Oh where oh where can my parents be?

    Why can't I remember her?
She was here but I guess she left,
    Her mistakes are clearly seen,
But her face is gone like summer days,
Oh where oh where can she be?

He made me laugh when I was young,
But since I've been thirteen he's been gone,
He was always very busy and never really said "I love you",
He was there for the easiest time of my life then he disappeared,
Oh where oh where can he be?

They both left me desperate for attention,
One made me feel bad about my-self and rejected,
The other parent just made me miss having him around,
But this x-mas I just wish they were both home with me,
Oh where oh where can my parents be?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
