Not Me
Would I scare you
If I shared
The Painfully Wonderful way
You occupy me?
What if I told you
Of the physical anguish
That ensues
When you're not around?
If you're not touching me,
Touch fails to exist.
If I'm not locked with you,
In a kiss,
Kissing is foreign.
Would you run?
Would it freighten you
To know
That it's worse when you're here?
To know that you don't
Truly know.
You will never know.
The only way you could
Is to feel it.
And you don't,
At least not for me.
If I shared
The Painfully Wonderful way
You occupy me?
What if I told you
Of the physical anguish
That ensues
When you're not around?
If you're not touching me,
Touch fails to exist.
If I'm not locked with you,
In a kiss,
Kissing is foreign.
Would you run?
Would it freighten you
To know
That it's worse when you're here?
To know that you don't
Truly know.
You will never know.
The only way you could
Is to feel it.
And you don't,
At least not for me.
