My Heart
As I sit here all alone,
With no place to call my own,
Just sitting here as the minutes go by,
Asking Him why God why,
Not understanding all the pain in my heart,
Needing to take control from the start,
While praying every day for my sins,
Thinking in my mind that it could end,
Seeming no one loves me,
No one to care if my soul is set free,
Wondering if it will always just be me,
Seems nothing I do or say is ever going to be ok,
My friends and loveones just look the other way,
All that I love seems to disappear without a trace,
I just wonder through lifes fog,
Lying frozen as a winters log,
Then I see that all around me there are others,
Who needs someone who understands their plite,
As I start looking upon their needs it makes my heart bleed,
So I am thanking my heavenly Father for a place to shelter,
Watching as He spreads out his healing wings,
Holding on to me so close and hugging me so boldly.
Saying my child I took your place on calvary,
That you could have a choice of death or living eternaly free,
Just so I could love you through out all eternity.
