    MY BEST FRIEND

    Although we met as adults,
I feel as I have known you
    all my life.
    As close as sisters,
    Insepratable until the end.
    To young to die,
    You will always be...
    MY BEST FRIEND.
    We shared it all,
    The ups, the downs,
    The ins, the outs,
    Always there through
    Thick and thin.
    You will always be...
    MY BEST FRIEND.
    Who will I talk to?
Who's shoulder do I cry on?
    Who do I turn to
    Now that you're gone?
    I already miss you
    And no matter what,
    You will always be...
    MY BEST FRIEND

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
