    Morning After

Shall I tell you of a time
When all the world, I thought, was mine
The moon was full , the stars did shine
    intoxicated on the hedy wine
we danced to soundless music through the night
embracing on a bed of lush sweet clover
But when came the mornings glare of light
All that remained was one hell of a hangover

Wow. I was being swept away with such lovely words . My guess was a love poem and then I was laughing, saying true so true. Thank you!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
