    Melanchole

Melancholy, you follow me wherever I go
You stablized yourself in my tender heart
You depressed me and you made me strong

Melancholy, won't you just leave me alone
Shouldn't you go find some ugly hearts
Be with them teach them how to behave

Melancholy, don't you ever ever come back
    I won't miss you, I won't be grateful
Though I know you've made me strong

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
