LUCKY LADY

LUCKY LADY

Lucky Lady come to me,

And I'll be a lucky guy.

Your smile drives me crazy,

And your loving makes me high.

I'm not trying to seduce you,

Gratification's not enough.

It would drive you away from me,

And I'm loving you too much.

For sex should a/ways be,

The final step you know;

Making love is far too special,

To be used to say hello.

I'm not saying I don't enjoy,

Lovemaking that is new;

But until we both are in love,

I'd rather just hold you.

For sex compared to making love,

Would only bring me down.

I'd wake up in the morning,

And you wouldn't be around.

So I'll wait here patiently,

Hoping for the time;

When reality can be the same,

As my fantasies in rhyme.
