Lifes Greatest Challenges
Some would call it a blessing, some would call it a joy
Some would not want the job at all to raise a girl or boy
I don't think life would be complete without the gift of love
A blessing cradled in my arms was sent from GOD above
The beauty in her eyes of blue is very plain to see
And every time her eyes meet mine a memory stirs in me
It's something that will never fade this love I have inside
For when you came into this world I nearly burst with pride
And through the years I've realized how empty life would be
Without my daughter in my life an empty man you'd see
For every time I look at you my heart is filled with love
And every time I think of you I thank the LORD above
Even when it's very hard to know what's best for you
God will give me strength Rachel, his love will see us through
Our lives have many challenges and when I think of you
It's my life's greatest challenge to be a dad you'll look up too
My arms are always open, I'm here with listening ears
My eyes are crying tears of joy year after precious year
And when you lay me in the ground I'll still be there with you
Remembering every moment shared, the times shared by us two
