    Poem Commentary

    Trying out using 7 meters (I guess that's what they call it in poetry... 7 feet?) per line. I usually write songs, so the idea is not new to me. I heard of "Iambic Pentameter", and I am exploring.

    Least Resistance


    Least Resistance

    　

    Where do my roadblocks lead me?

    I wonder, I do not know

    The path is of course the way

    And when I find ways around

             The obstacles in my life

    They transform, become knowledge

    And then a larger path shows

    Yes. It will be intersting to see the poet behind the poetry. I guess that is what makes PoetrySurvivor a great idea.

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
