When the Lord declares For I know the plans I have for you

Though exciting, a sense of doubt fills our innermost being

The Alpha and Omega designed, created, moulded and shaped us

Yet having faith is hard when you’re trusting in something you’re not seeing

When the Lord declares He has plans for us to prosper

Why does fear dominate, why can’t we just be?

Nothing can separate us, for our Comforter guides and sets us free

Yet sometimes it’s still in the world that we seek our destiny

When the Lord declares He has plans not to harm us

Why are we continually scared of being unfulfilled?

The King of Kings has far better plans than we could dream

Just know He is God, and let your hearts be stilled

When the Lord declares He has plans to give us hope and a future

We must seek first His Kingdom, for only in Jesus will we find true satisfaction

I don’t know what the future holds, but I know who holds our future

So trust in the word of God and with boldness move into action
