It's So Clear Now
December 1st, 2007Written By: H.V. Ramos
It seems so bittersweet, that our love would end this way
What seemed like forever, lasted a few years and a day
I no longer know you, I no longer care
You did this to yourself, you eft my feelings unspared
My words spoke on deaf ears, my cries go unheard
It is so clear now, my vision no longer blurred
I thought this was love and what we had was true
No tears fell from my eyes, the day I left you
Think about the night you hurt me, nights of pain
I wonder over the years how I remained sane
You talk about the others, how they betrayed you
Now I wonder if all those stories, if any are true
I've awaken inside, knowing that your not here
Loneliness and abandonment, things I once feared
It's so clear now, my words are finally heard
The love you once promised, no longer leave me allured
I thought you were something, what we had was real
No words left my mouth, I no longer had to feel
You need no explanation, your consicence will remind you in time
Don't bother calling, trust me I will be fine
You've left me bitter, andgry and painfully cold
You've wised me beyond my years, I feel so old
To deal with you and the baggage you brought along
It was the making of an ole' country song
It's so clear now, that I'm out the door
I knew the real you, thank-you, I don't need anymore
