    Invisable Mail Man

I received an unusual visit today,
A invisible mail man came my way.

He handed me something that wasn't quit there,
Because invisible mail is very rare.

I opened it up real far and wide,
To find ever less than nothing inside.

The writing was so neat and clean,
So clean it couldn't be seen.

So sweet of a scent that it was nothing at all,
My love standing ever less than tall.

Now im sending you this letter with love you can bet,
And thanks for the letter i never did get.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
