In God's hands
As the psalmist would say
With all my heart I seek you
the Lord is my light and salvation
He provides me with His grace
He is the source of my strength.
In times of trials and tribulations
I always hang on to His mercy
though at times I question Him
for being quiet and seemingly unaware.
But since I reached the age of reason
I began to talk to Him in prayer
He’s like my buddy, a close friend
who knows everything about me.
When I entered the religious life
I discovered more how He looked like
his messages as a historical Jesus
made me persevere to embrace His life.
Realigning the path where I’m heading
I looked at it with the eyes of faith
His love and compassion through the years
convinced me though to keep in the race.
His meaning to my own journey
speaks volumes about redemption
unworthy as I am to be his follower
yet He made me one of his disciples.
In His hands I entrust everything
I do believe His grace abounds
He’s my Lord and only Savior
the main author of all vocations.
With all my heart I seek you
the Lord is my light and salvation
He provides me with His grace
He is the source of my strength.
In times of trials and tribulations
I always hang on to His mercy
though at times I question Him
for being quiet and seemingly unaware.
But since I reached the age of reason
I began to talk to Him in prayer
He’s like my buddy, a close friend
who knows everything about me.
When I entered the religious life
I discovered more how He looked like
his messages as a historical Jesus
made me persevere to embrace His life.
Realigning the path where I’m heading
I looked at it with the eyes of faith
His love and compassion through the years
convinced me though to keep in the race.
His meaning to my own journey
speaks volumes about redemption
unworthy as I am to be his follower
yet He made me one of his disciples.
In His hands I entrust everything
I do believe His grace abounds
He’s my Lord and only Savior
the main author of all vocations.
