    Poem Commentary

This is in response to winterkous Echo's cryptogram poem. I was able to almost solve it all except for the word that is just before heart where there is a blank space. There were a couple of number that were wrong so I guessed at what exactly they were. Great job by him however. I'll write one of my own.

    I SOLVED IT

    How did these dreams,
    Become so dark?

How did I ever get lost in this moment?

    Holloe echo's,
    Voices in my heart.

    Hoping to find,
    An open door ahead.

    Racing toward love.
    Only falling to failure.

    Will the spark,
    Ever ignite again?

    Or will this______ heart,

    Remain closed forever?

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
