I Need To Go Home (06-08-10)
I need to go homeI'm in need of closure,
Back to my roots
To regain my composure.
I need to go home
To relax and get away
To West Virginia and Virginia too,
To listen to what the mountains and streams have to say.
I need to go home,
Surrounded by family and friends,
To deal with things I need to deal with
And time never comes to an end.
I need to go home again,
For my own sanity and peace of mind,
I'm in need of serenity;
I'm in need of the mountains kind.
I need to go home
Back to wehre it all began,
Surround myself with memories,
To smell her smell and feel her touch again.
She grew up in the hollers,
She frew up strong and now she's free;
Free from pain, sickness, and from being tired
And free to just be.
I need to go home
To feel it again,
To feel the love
Of the mountains at hand.
The mountains
Were my home most of my life
And away from the real world
I just need to go hide.
I need to go home
To the hills, mountains, and waterfalls,
This is by far,
My favorite place of all.
