RE: Dear Friends (update on my book)

The collection (my book) is nearly ready, unfortunately, and for valid reasons, Stillpoint Publishing will miss the first publishing dead-line, which was going to be this week-end, July 25th. We are both such anal-perfectionist, and will not publish until everything is perfect. Hang tight, we are aiming at the middle of August for a new release date. The title is still under covers. And thank you for all of your emails asking for the book. I am honored!

Peace and Light,
Dahtongue rolleye

RE: Dear Friends (book publishing)

What I have learned about the book publishing business: Deadlines are created only to be missed and, yes, we have missed two already, so we are on the right track.

Stillpoint Press is doing a fantastic job putting my book together. I stand an applaud them! Here is the update:

I have the first of two galley copies of my book. Stillpoint Press has the other copy. I am shaking like a leaf in a hot summer storm. Mama Mia Casa Dia! This is a dream, a luscious dream. Many corrections and tweaks needed before releasing it to the public, which should be in a few weeks, more or less. Thank you, dah. August, 23 2010

RE: Dear Friends (book publishing)

Thank you for your excitement, and I bow to all of you poets, friends, and lovers.kiss

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
