    This poem was given to me by my ex boyfriend, after he broke up with me.

    For you

    The stars upon the blackened moon
    That feel like a quiet solitude
    Yet upon this hour I see a light
    As if it's an angel in the night
    No, I can't be seeing the'
    I'm a demon clothed in sheets
    I have many faces of which I wear
    To please those whom birthed me in hellfire
    Yet, when you came to touch my cheek
    Your features surely blossomed me
    I felt no more a cursed child
    I see your eyes, a dark jewel
    A face which quiets my reservations
    A calm, beautiful creature which I hold dear
    I wish to know you I wish to be with you
    And that in my heart is what I hold true
