    FEAR (intro)

    I Fear,
For My fears have all but disappeared
Intensified by the mind of me
    My strength is designed
    To keep the fear inside
It eats away at my soul
    I am weak

    Consumption into nothing,
But what I choose not to become
The demolished sanctuary of a dream
    Sifting through the rubble
Revealing the nightmare I run from
I take a stand with open hands
    What does it mean?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
