Deep Hurt
No one knows what it's like
to lose a loved one
until it happens
No one knows the pain
of hating yourself
for doing nothing
No one knows the shock
of seeing your friend die
and feeling responsible
No one knows I gave it to him
only to sell
but he used it instead
No one knows the pain
of losing your best friend to sorrow
and feeling responsable
for causing her pain
No one knows what it's like
to feel a stranger to yourself
in your own skin
No one knows what it's like
until it happens to them.
