Dedicated to my beloved husband
DEDICATED TO MY BELOVED HUSBAND
I wanted you to be eternal
as a sunrise,
as a moon silvering the night…
I wanted you to hear
as a refrain
as a sea wave spattering the shore…
I wanted you to be
In hard times
And at moments good and sweet with me
I wanted my soul to stray with you
In wonderful universes and dreams
I wanted both together to make
The world more shining and lovely
I wanted so much…but I could not
Stop your last moment with me.
Then suddenly the sun died out,
the moon was glazed with malice
my soul – a wave has weltered violently
to the shore of bizarre destiny.
And in the whole universe deserted
I did not know where you are, either I am…
And I want to believe that somewhere in infinity
After my last hour you are waiting still for me…
2005, January
I wanted you to be eternal
as a sunrise,
as a moon silvering the night…
I wanted you to hear
as a refrain
as a sea wave spattering the shore…
I wanted you to be
In hard times
And at moments good and sweet with me
I wanted my soul to stray with you
In wonderful universes and dreams
I wanted both together to make
The world more shining and lovely
I wanted so much…but I could not
Stop your last moment with me.
Then suddenly the sun died out,
the moon was glazed with malice
my soul – a wave has weltered violently
to the shore of bizarre destiny.
And in the whole universe deserted
I did not know where you are, either I am…
And I want to believe that somewhere in infinity
After my last hour you are waiting still for me…
2005, January
