Chocolate Love
Swaggering from euphoric intoxication
Love follows, that She may inhale
the noxious vapors of all She has smitten.
Sobriety of the mundane has long since
departed in utter humiliation. How else would
one behave in Her presence?
For is She not the most self-centered, toxic
of vacuums, jealous and spoiled as a child
unwilling to share Her all-consuming air
like a box of rare chocolates?
Is She not the most indignant & impatient
of creatures waiting to be savored & consumed
one luscious, irresistible morsel at a time,
slowly,
erotically…
In the most exotic of places?
