Broken Ballerina
I know on these broken wings
I will begin to fly
No strings
Nothing holding me
I'll take it as a lesson learned
I'm a chapter past
Trying not to look back
All I see are the clouds
Another rainy day
A sunless sky
I feel the light in me
My darkness tries to hide
But see theres days when I cant make it
The end of my life I feel
From the first breath in the morning
When I take it
Coming to reality
The heartlessness of humanity
Climbing the hills
To see mountains looming
You stand before me
Expecting to see me dance
Take you out of reality
You depend on my show
I put on my ballerina shoes
My sad song starts singing
I show you my world
The fight that breaks out of me
The weight of the world is heavy
If you hold it
Can you see me
Watch closely
Its beginning
Falling is inevitable
My imperfections winning
I let you see right through me
I keep dancing
I just pass through
I'm not the girl you thought of
A big disappointment
I guess your dream is broken
now you understand
the sadness of my song
The girl you wanted
Was make believe
I tried to make you understand
You wouldn't listen
Perfection was all you wanted
Your face fades..
it doesnt bother me
Beautifully flawed
I keep dancing
at least no ones watching
expecting me to fall
