Am I the Only One Listening?
Stop and smell the roses
This is a desolate life
Without our imaginations
We’ll live in a world of black and white
Infinite realms of possibilities
Seeming separate
We create and design life
Thriving, beating, breathing
We are a part of the same music
That sings from the birds and the bees
All connected under the sun
We have lost the meaning
Vacant smiles, hollow promises
Spiritual beings capable of profound emotion
What has happened to us?
Drones in a pyramid society
Unwilling to seek truth
Freedom is our birthright
Allowing ourselves to be controlled by a minority
We forget ourselves
Our humanity
Listen to the wind
You’ll hear my cries
The music louder every time
Am I the only one listening
