A Safe Place

Where's the truth
Were they lies
quit running away
What is it in your eyes
You're letting go
I'm all alone
I can't let go of you
What am I suppose to do
You're leaving, and it's far
You are not gone yet
But you are on the inside
And I'm already trying to find
A puzzle piece to fit my body's missing heart
Because it hurts unmercifully
I'd wait but I know you're not coming back to the start
It is too hard to let this go on
I am working constantly to conjure up the perfect potion
Whether it saves or takes me away
It's worth not living this another day
Love is not "I don't have the time"
It's "where are you? You're always on my mind."
Don't let it go just for setting off alarms
Come a little closer
You'll feel safe in my arms

I can feel this one I thought you were telling my story for a minute. Great poem again

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
