A OMEN OF WHAT IS TO BE
We are Born in the Spirit
Born of the Flesh
Our growth is rapid through out life
Youth with all its excitement and spenders
Life is wonderful for a time
Peeping through the door into adulthood
Happy days School, friends, parties, cars, jobs
Then graduation times, Marriage, home, children
Middle age time
Dreams, work, self discipline, successful
Clubs, travel, a newer home, a newer car
Divorce, a newer family
Time presses forward
Starting life over a new, single, lonesome
Dating, a new spouse, now two families for some
Wondering what had happen? What to do!
With ache and pains, graying hair, pot belly,
Eye sights going, what will come next?
Faster and faster time passes on...
Thinking of the future
Not much left, trying try to do everything
Retirement, rocking chair, TV, computer
Looking back in time
Now seclusion, senility, religious
Time getting short
Staring face to face with destiny
And destiny he laughs
Sickness, hospital, death, funeral
Born in the spirit
Death in the flesh
An Omen of what must be...
Born of the Flesh
Our growth is rapid through out life
Youth with all its excitement and spenders
Life is wonderful for a time
Peeping through the door into adulthood
