A Living Dream
Life is a living dream,
Anything is possible,
or so it seems,
A simple smile,
can be turned upside down;
And leave you with a frown.
A moment of grace,
can turn into a disgrace;
And leave an expression,
of sadness and depression,
upon your face.
We can run,
but we can never hide,
from this living dream,
that evolved from deep inside.
We can love,
and watch it turn into hate;
Just as easily as we awake.
Every morning,
we look forward to a new day,
But there are simple words-
we should think or say:
Life is a living dream,
Anything is possible,
or so it seems.
Anything is possible,
or so it seems,
A simple smile,
can be turned upside down;
And leave you with a frown.
A moment of grace,
can turn into a disgrace;
And leave an expression,
of sadness and depression,
upon your face.
We can run,
but we can never hide,
from this living dream,
that evolved from deep inside.
We can love,
and watch it turn into hate;
Just as easily as we awake.
Every morning,
we look forward to a new day,
But there are simple words-
we should think or say:
Life is a living dream,
Anything is possible,
or so it seems.
