wake me please
Once again ,I'm lost for words. Trapped on a noun, but have no verbs. I'm hunting for thoughts, but my gun has jammed, could I stand up, I'd make a stand. Could I wake up, I'd run for the hills, and write of adventures, of conquests and spills. I watch the girls skinny dipping in the pond, and write of the thoughts my mind's journeyed on. I've thought of soldiers left crippled or blind, or worse even yet, the families they left behind. I thought of the starving begging just for one crumb, while some stuff thier face till the done lap belt comes. I watch all of the snowbirds flying north again. Summer's not forever, but vacations are planned. How I got stuck here,I don't really know, but the clock should wake me up in a hour or so.wake me please
