Your Voice
“Your Voice”
When we first spoke on the line,
I couldn't help feel chills run down my spine;
The warmth of your voice I felt- desperately to hear-
I was anxious to have you near;
Before we spoke, I felt like a very lonely guy
But after talking with you- I have hope- Companionship maybe worth a try;
You have mesmerized me my dear
Cause your voice is so sweet- so sincere;
Although I cannot assume or take anything for granted-
There is an excitement within me-although my feet remain firmly planted,
For during that moment- your voice kept a smile on my face-
And because of your sweet voice-in my heart- You'll always have a place.
When we first spoke on the line,
I couldn't help feel chills run down my spine;
The warmth of your voice I felt- desperately to hear-
I was anxious to have you near;
Before we spoke, I felt like a very lonely guy
But after talking with you- I have hope- Companionship maybe worth a try;
You have mesmerized me my dear
Cause your voice is so sweet- so sincere;
Although I cannot assume or take anything for granted-
There is an excitement within me-although my feet remain firmly planted,
For during that moment- your voice kept a smile on my face-
And because of your sweet voice-in my heart- You'll always have a place.
