Your Old Yo-yo
Untwine the yo-yo string
Reel it in and release again
Watch how the yo-yo rises and falls
And work out the knots that make the bumps in its descent
Work the rope delicately preventing any slips and knots
Because when the old yo-yo rope snaps gravity will lift it up.
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
