    Winds of Change

     

     

    You feel the winds of change

    As they kiss your face

    The feathery touch upon your skin

    Like a love one’s embrace

     

    Better times are approaching

    Yet the bad ones made you stronger

    So you keep them in your memory

    Though not familiar any longer

     

    You know they will revisit

    For they are part of life

    So you enjoy the good times

    Storing strength for strife

     

    The greatest achievement of all

    Is not actually weathering the storm

    But while it dances with you

    It’s all in how you perform

     

    You keep your style and grace

    Never forgetting your power

    Then you can make it through

    Even your life’s most frightful hour

    "Do your worst, for I will do mine". This is what I've said to the recent storm in my life. And while its winds blew, I danced with it, and I danced well. The calm has descended, the trees have stopped bending, the houses have stopped shaking, but the clean up will linger...Thank you for this!

    This was nice. Funny how time changes your perspective on things. Everyday we learn something new, only to draw from that experience later. You know what they say; "What goes around, comes around."
