    Where Did We Go

    Where Did We Go

    Early morning as I rise,

    You don’t even open your eyes;

    You use to want this time together,

    Now you seldom even say good-bye;

    With passing time, I’ve watched you change,

    Yet all my love for you remains the same;

    Your love for me use to come so easy,

    Now it seldom comes at all;

    Could it be we’re really over,

    Is all our love gone;

    Is it time to face the hurt,

    That I’ve dreaded for so long;

    Can you tell me -

    Where did we go wrong?

    Please tell me

    Just where did we go ?

    Thank you so much for the good comment...I have books and books of my writings. I just have never done anything with them so I thought I would put some on here to see what people would say about them...Thanks again, Donna

    You are most welcome...your writing is a pleasure to enjoy. Mike

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
