What do I got you haven't

    We are beautiful people,
    no matter what
    anyone says.
    If you're white,black,young,or old
you are made by God regardless
    who haven't been told.
If your fighting like me to stay free
you come against the devil, his
stupid friends, that are mad for nothing
just because, they don't know no better
funk they carry that want to be something,
all they will get is the hot plate,
    FOREVER
    that will be their date,
what do I got you haven't
    remembering our soul.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
