What a Blessing
What a blessing you are.
Your touch is as soft as a dove.
On what you have arrived I may never know.
But what a blessing you are.
Holding my hand in the time of need.
Praying for me when my breath seems weak.
Standing at the door to meet my needs.
God has put you here as my head to stand and protect me.
You are my husband and I your wife.
And yes I can do it alone but why try.
Wait… On second thought I can’t do it alone and I know that it is okay to hold on to my blessing.
God has given you to me and blessed us with a beautiful family.
He tells us that he who findeth a good wife findeth a good thing.
And I might be good but you my husband are amazing.
And so it is understood, what a blessing you are!
