Weeping Willow
On a Willow she is weeping,
Yet a smile she is wearing.
A secret she is keeping,
From the wounds she is bearing.
Though the tears are still seeping,
Her story she isn't shareing.
The secret she holds dear,
Is that really she has no fear.
Yet the pain is great,
Life she can not hate.
Even though the hurt is strong,
She knows it won't last long.
Through the heartache she will survive,
She loves just being alive.
Yet a smile she is wearing.
A secret she is keeping,
From the wounds she is bearing.
Though the tears are still seeping,
Her story she isn't shareing.
The secret she holds dear,
Is that really she has no fear.
Yet the pain is great,
Life she can not hate.
Even though the hurt is strong,
She knows it won't last long.
Through the heartache she will survive,
She loves just being alive.
