    Watching Over Me

    Watching over me

    All the time,

My God said,” I will never leave you, nor forsake you”

When the world had me wrapped in its grip,

    Lost in sin,

    He watch over me!

When I was up on my feet thought, I had the world beat he watched over me!

How would have thought me a soldier for God,

    Or

What you could say one Gods chosen people,

Yes I know he was not watching over me for nothing,

It was his plain the way life work it self out ,

For he knew my thoughts before they were my thoughts!

So the pain, heartache & street life,

All had to happen so I could be the man I am today!

    Watching over me

    Is what he was doing!!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
