    I'm overwhelmed
    With so many new feelings;
    Where do I start? My
    Thoughts bounce off the ceiling...

    A step at a time,
    Guided by He above;
    Helps me through the day
    Any my family's love.

    For so long I've tried
    To do things on my own,
    And messed up so much;
    Yet, everyone's condoned...

    I am grateful for all,
    I can't say enough.
    Now it's my turn
    To be strong and tough.

    No more excuses
    And gettin' side tracked
    Only looking forward
    No longer looking back.

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
