    untitled

    Locked in tight
    Safe from the night
And the sting of the harsh wind.

    Surrounded by life,
    Feeling no strife,
Sheltered from the life I hated.

    Six feet under ground
    The coffin yields no sound
Sheltered from the life I once hated.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
