    untitled February, 1982

    The feelings that
    are locked within
    you never can untie
for, if you pull a crooked string
    your heart will surely die

    I cannot bring
    a love to that
    so pure, so true, alive
    for every string
    is a crooked string
    your heart will surely die

I love the tapestry woven with powerful emotions. You manage to create an excellent piece with only a few lines. Outstanding!

High praise coming from a writer of your caliber. I'm honored.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
